形容词和副词比较级和最高级的构成和用法
1.“the+比较级, the+比较级”表示两种情况同时变化。这个句型中的第一句相当于状语从句, 不能用将来时态。
The more medicine I take, the worse I seem to feel.  
我吃的药越多,我感觉越糟糕。
“no+比较级+than...”意为“都不”, 是对两者的共同否定, 侧重前者; “not+比较级+than...”意为“不及”, 表示前者不如后者, 隐含对两者的肯定, 侧重后者。
He is no taller than I.  他和我一样都不高。                    
My handwriting is not better than yours.  我的字迹不如你的好。
“the+比较级+of the two(+名词)”, 表示“两者中较……的一个”。
The taller of the two boys is my brother.  两个男孩中较高的一个是我的兄弟。
2.用法 the+最高级+of/in+比较范围,最高级表示在一定范围内某事物或某人在性质、高低或大小等方面程度最高或最低。“……之中最……”, 用于三者或三者以上的比较。同类范畴用of, 不同类用in。  
He talks (the) least and does (the) most in his class. 他在班上讲得最少,做得最多。
not/never+比较级   “最……不过”。在比较级前加上否定意义的词, 表达最高级的含义。   

His work couldn’t be worse. 他的工作不会更糟糕了(空前绝后的糟糕)。

Nothing is better than a hot drink on a cold winter day.

3.倍数的表达
表达法一:A is three(four, etc.)times the size(height, length etc.)of B.
The new building is four times the size(the height)of the old one.这座新楼是那座旧楼的四倍大(高)。
表达法二:A is three(four, etc.) times as big(high, long, etc.)as B.
Asia is four times as large as Europe.亚洲比欧洲大三倍。
表达法三:A is three (four, etc.) times bigger(higher, longer, etc.) than B.
Your school is three times bigger than ours.你们的学校比我们的学校大三倍。
